Heaven is a place on Earth

"Most people consider life a battle, but it is not a battle, it is a game. It is a game however, which cannot be played successfully without the knowledge of spiritual law, and the Old and the New Testaments give the rules of the game with wonderful clearness."

If you have never looked at life as a game, you are really missing out! It is high time for a change.

Florence Shovel Shinn, was one of America's most beloved and best-selling inspirational authors. Although written in 1925, her "The Game of Life and how to play it" is a timeless masterpiece of wisdom. Ever since, a plethora of authors have written about the beliefs and principles of the law of attraction, however, Florence's book remains unique for being an intelligible and relatable unfolding of revelations.

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it- Genesis 13:15

There is no limit to whom you can be and what you can achieve, however, you cannot achieve what you cannot see.

To play successfully the game of life, we must train the imaging faculty through desire, faith or the spoken word. Words can turn defeat into victory, poverty into prosperity, fear into faith, and resentment into love. Whatever man feels deeply or images clearly, is impressed upon the subconscious mind. This is what man will attract and bring into manifestation.

The object of the game of life is to see clearly one’s good and to obliterate all mental pictures of evil. A person with an imaging faculty trained to image only good, brings into his life “every righteous desire of his heart” – health, wealth, love, friends, perfect self-expression, his highest ideals.

Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7-9

The Game of Life is a game of boomerangs. Man’s thoughts, deeds and words, return to him sooner or later, with astounding accuracy. This means that whatever man sends out in word or deed, will return to him; what he gives, he will receive. If he gives hate, he will receive hate. If he gives love, he will receive love. If he gives criticism, he will receive criticism. If he lies, he will be lied to. If he cheats, he will be cheated.

“Why are ye fearful, oh ye of little faith?” (Mat. 8:26)

Nothing stands between man and his highest ideals and every desire of his heart, but doubt and fear, man’s only enemy – fear of lack, fear of failure, fear of sickness, fear of loss and a feeling of insecurity on some plane. Fear is misdirected energy and must be redirected, or transmuted into Faith. When man can “wish without worrying,” every desire will be instantly fulfilled.

“Whatsoever ye ask the Father, in my name, he will give it to you.” John 16:23

Suffering is not necessary for man’s development; it is the result of violation of spiritual law.

All power is given man (through right thinking) to bring his heaven upon his earth, and this is the goal of the “Game of Life.”
